Terms of Use
The rules of the game — not TRETA Block itself, but the contract between you and us when you use the app.
1. Acceptance
By installing and using TRETA Block, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with any part, the best move is to uninstall the app.
2. Who we are
TRETA Block is developed and published by nikolaspaolo, an independent game studio (individual, Brazil). Contact: contato@nikolaspaolo.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use the app. Minors under 18 must have authorization from a guardian, especially for purchases. If you're under 13, ask an adult to install something else — TRETA Block isn't for that age range.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the app on your own device, for non-commercial use. You cannot:
- Modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app
- Resell, rent or sublicense it
- Use bots, scripted emulators, or any automation to manipulate the ranking
- Try to access other players' accounts or exploit server vulnerabilities
- Remove copyright notices or trademarks from the app
5. Game content and conduct
You are responsible for the nickname you choose. Nicknames that violate these rules may be force-renamed or have the account deleted without notice:
- Offensive, racist, sexist, homophobic or discriminatory
- Impersonating another person, known character or brand
- Containing spam, external links or invitations to other services
6. In-app purchases (IAP)
TRETA Block offers a Pro version via one-time payment, processed exclusively by your operating system's store (Google Play or App Store).
What Pro includes
- Removal of all ads
- Premium board skin (future release)
- Free power-ups when they launch
- Pro badge on the global ranking
Refunds
Refunds follow the store's policy (Google Play or App Store). We, nikolaspaolo, do not process refunds directly — the store charges and refunds. In case of an approved refund, Pro access is automatically revoked.
Restoring purchases
If you've already bought Pro and switched devices (or reinstalled the app), use the "Restore purchase" button inside the Pro screen. That queries the store and reactivates Pro using your Google / Apple account.
7. Ranking and multiplayer
The ranking and 1v1 versus depend on our server. We do our best to keep everything online, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance or incidents may cause temporary outages. In those cases, solo mode keeps working offline.
8. Fair use of multiplayer
We reserve the right to disconnect, temporarily or permanently ban accounts that:
- Exploit bugs to gain ranking advantage
- Abuse the reconnection system to escape losses
- Use external tools to manipulate game state
- Spam the matchmaking system
9. User-generated content
Your nickname is content for which you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display publicly on the ranking and to other players during matches. This license ends when you delete the account or remove the nickname.
10. Intellectual property
The code, art, audio, design, mechanics and all trademarks associated with TRETA Block belong to nikolaspaolo. Third-party fonts, libraries and SDKs used in the app belong to their respective owners (Expo, React Native, Supabase, AdMob, RevenueCat, Press Start 2P).
11. Account deletion
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing contato@nikolaspaolo.com with the subject "Delete account" and your nickname#tag. We process within 30 days. Some data may be retained due to legal obligation (e.g., tax receipts), as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
TRETA Block is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, nikolaspaolo is not liable for:
- Loss of progress due to network, server or device failures
- Incompatibility with Android/iOS versions outside those marked as supported
- Any indirect, incidental damages or lost profits
In no case will our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for Pro (if any) in the 12 months prior to the triggering event.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced inside the app before they take effect. Continued use after the update means acceptance of the new terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. You may terminate yours at any time by uninstalling the app and requesting account deletion.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The court of the consumer's place of residence is elected to resolve any disputes — Art. 101, I, of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code.
